Unless there are significant technical disabilities with S2 (approaching Empire) it is possible it will be one of the few I play for pleasure. Cheats or hacks available in MP is simply a weakness in programming, protection or failure to keep up with ten-year-old-mentalities with nothing else to do. You can look into many Paradox-dev'd games that allow a 'hands-off' mode for this purpose- to see whats going on in the world. usually not something cheats are handy for although on strategy games removing FOW is pretty handy. When I play for my own purpose, it is not fun for me to cheat while I do it unless I am trying to set up a situation. Personally I do not use cheat codes in any game as my purpose is usually technical, there is little time, and there are few games I play just to play. If you want to cheat you don't need codes to do it, and if you do it alone in your own home, like any self-gratification, it is none of my business nor should it be of any interest to me or anyone else.

I'm with T-Unit, if you really want to alter the condition to try things the game normally would not permit, you can alter the data files and achieve what you desire - even though not easy or even always possible for ALL things given some aspects of the engine that are 'hardwired' - so the thread is really to no purpose. These topics have been gone over a thousand times by a thousand generations of players of TW and other games. This is an amusing thread, but not terribly useful.
